Pedro Cotto age 87 of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Carmen Delia Serrano Cotto, entered into eternal rest at home on September 30, 2011 after a long illness. He was born in Aguas Buenas, PR, May 20, 1924, to the late Benito Cotto Delgado and Maria Gomez Cotto. He was a longtime Bridgeport resident and was retired from Jenkins Bros. where he had been employed for 34 years. In addition to his wife of 63 years, he is survived by his children, Walberto (Ana) Cotto, Sr., Edy (Joseph) Skovira, Eva (Frank) Pomarico, Gloria (Mike) Colombini, Carmen (David) Acosta, Candida (Ken) Donahue, Nelly Cotto, Rosita (Miguel) Torres, Jose (Michele) Cotto, Ozzie Cotto and Michael (Pauline) Cotto; his grandchildren, Walberto (Carrie) Cotto, Jr., Nina (Rich) Garcia, Jennifer (Joyner) Mosely, Richard (Ivy Ortiz) Cotto, Myla Quiles, Mareesa and William Torres, David (Gina) Acosta, Michael Skovira, Christopher Acosta and his fiancée, Patricia Rodriguez, Sarah and Mark Pomarico, Erica Acosta, Michael Colombini, Jr. and his fiancée, Krislyn Walterson, Joshua Colombini, Cory Donahue, Christian and Cole Fentress, Meghan, Peter, Nicholas, Brian, Isaac, Maranda, Josephine and Samantha Cotto; his great grandchildren; Kevin, Joshua, Isaiah, Korina, RJ, Nathaniel, Justin, Jailen, Jaslin, Josiah, Jacob, Briana, Adam, Elizaiah,Tayliah, Seyanah, Kayleen, Madisyn, an unborn great granddaughter due in October; a sister, Sr. Arcadia Cotto, SHJ; a sister-in-law, Santos Serrano; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son, Pedro J. Cotto, and 9 siblings. Friends and family may call Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 10:00 followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 at the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Pl., Stratford, CT. Burial at St John the Baptist, Monroe. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to CT Hospice.
