Obituary

Pauline (Seresin)Nosal – Entered this world February 16, 1922 – Peacefully left this world June 17, 2025, at the age of 103 years.

When asked her age, Pauline never gave a number, she would always just tell people she was "Ancient".  Pauline was an intelligent, strong, and independent woman. She met her husband-to-be, Al, while they both attended the UCONN School of Pharmacy.  After they graduated in 1942, Al went to Italy and served in the Army. They maintained their relationship, and united in marriage in July,1946. After marrying, they moved to Baltimore where Al attended dental school, and Pauline continued her work as a pharmacist.  Upon returning to Connecticut, Pauline continued with a 20+ year career as a pharmacist and for many years maintained the books for Al's dental practice, all while helping her mother through her later years.

They enjoyed traveling, classical music and time with friends and family. After Al's passing in 1989, Pauline continued as landlady of her childhood three family home in Bridgeport and maintained their home in Fairfield. A frequent attendee to the Fairfield Senior Center, she especially enjoyed her time playing Pinochle and chatting with friends.

A member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, she was a member of the Orthodox Women's Council and taught Sunday morning religious classes.  Pauline's faith was strong, and her religion was very important to her.

She is survived by her nephews, George Seresin, Ivan Seresin, Douglas Nosal and his wife Libera as well as many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the staff on 2 South at The Lutheran Home of Southbury and CT Hospice for the care and love they all provided Pauline.  She will be remembered for her tagline "Thank you nice lady" to all who cared for her.
