Paul Roscoe Rydelek, age 90, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2022, at St Joseph's Manor in Trumbull.

Born on November 7, 1931, in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Catherine "Kittie" Rydelek and Alexander Rydelek.  Paul graduated from Milford High School and then went on to attend the University of Connecticut where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.   He worked as an Industrial Engineer and then as a Purchasing Manager at H.B. Ives in New Haven. Paul loved sports and played basketball in high school. Throughout the years, he found great enjoyment in watching UConn Men's and Women's Basketball.   He was also an avid golfer and was recognized by the PGA for his hole in one.  Paul enjoyed traveling with his wife Katherine. They spent many winters in Punta Gorda, Florida. He especially enjoyed his trip across the US to California, and his trip to France, Italy, and England with a return trip on the Queen Mary 2. Paul will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Katherine DeMayo Rydelek, his loving children; Gregory Paul Rydelek and his wife Kimberly of Trumbull, and Laura Rydelek Fitzgerald and her husband Lawrence of East Lyme, as well as his four cherished grandchildren; Alexander Rydelek, Kara Rydelek, Tyler Fitzgerald, and Evan Paul Fitzgerald.

Friends and family may visit on Monday, May 23 ^rd from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. There will be a prayer service at 11:45 a.m. At the family's request, Masks are required.  Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
