Paul Nykorchuk, age 88, of Bridgeport, passed away on Saturday October 8, 2011 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mr. Nykorchuk, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War was born in Bridgeport to the late Nicholas and Anastasia (Zboroluk) Mykorchuk, and has been a life long area resident. He was the proprietor of Paul's Sunoco in Bridgeport. Survivors include his 3 sisters Mildred Buskey of Stratford, Kay Zorka of Bridgeport and Dorothy Lewis of SC, 4 nieces Katherine Corum, Patricia Scott and her husband David, Kathleen Danilowicz and her husband Michael, and Janet Zorka, a nephew Walter Pittam and several great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday October 11th at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Orthodox Church Oakwood St Bridgeport, for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may call on Monday from 4-6 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
