Paul P. Harter Sr., age 98, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Joan Varay Harter, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Orange Health Care Center. Paul was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on July 19, 1919 to the late Francis D. and Gertrude K. (Yetzer) Harter, and has been a long time area resident. He was a retired supervisor for Carpenter Steel and enjoyed traveling with his late wife, and was also an avid bowler.  Survivors include his children, Ruth Harter of Stratford, Paul Harter Jr. and his wife Charlotte, and Peggy Harter all of Pennsylvania, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY at St Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Lane, Shelton.
