HLAVNA -Patricia A. (Chervenak) Hlavna 63, beloved wife of Lawrence Hlavna entered into rest on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 after a brief illness. Patricia was born in Bridgeport, CT on June 30th, 1945, daughter of the late Andrew and Ann (Kerilla) Chervenak of Stratford. She was a long time resident of Seymour and Southbury, CT. She dedicated 25 yrs of service to Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT before retiring to Bethlehem, New Hampshire in 2007. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She especially enjoyed long car rides on the weekends with Larry, her best friend and husband of 38 yrs. Her love of antiques, cooking, spending time with her family and friends filled her life with happiness. She leaves three sons to cherish her memory; Michael A. Hlavna and his wife Michelle of Wolcott , Matthew E. Hlavna and his wife Tara of Prospect, CT, and Patrick M. Hlavna of North Haven. She leaves behind her loving sister, Barbara Torvend and her husband, Gene of Shelbourne, VT. She will be missed dearly by her beloved grandchildren, whom she adored, Nathan, Megan, Joshua and Paige Hlavna. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday July 15, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Interment will be private. Friends may greet her family from 4-7 p.m.
