Devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured friend, Patricia A. Farrell, age 85 of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 4, 2024, in St Vincents Medical Center Bridgeport surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on July 27, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Varholy) Jarosik.

Pat has been a lifelong area resident, where she graduated from Harding High School, and was a retired teller supervisor for People's Bank.  She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events, plays, concerts, and other school events. She was very proud of all their accomplishments.  Upon retirement, she became an active member of the Monroe Senior Center, and liked yoga, sewing, knitting, and her crossword puzzles. Pat is survived by her devoted daughters, Susan Sell and her husband David of Milford and Lisa Fraedrich and her husband Robert of Stratford; 4 grandchildren, Daniel Sell and his wife Kathryn, Lauren Sell, Lindsay and Timothy Fraedrich; a sister, Marilyn Chey and her husband Charles of Derby, a brother Robert Jarosik of Florida; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.  She will be missed by her faithful dogs, Rusty and Holly.  Pat will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to gather on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2024, from 9:00–10:15 AM in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM in St. Stephen's Church, Trumbull. Interment will follow at St. Johns's Cemetery, Stratford.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made online to the American Kidney Fund at www.kidneyfund.org or mail a check to the Monroe Senior Center at 235 Cutlers Farm Road, Monroe, CT 06468.
