Pasquale (Pat) S. Petrone Sr., age 72, of Stratford, beloved husband of Norine Barrett Petrone, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014 in his home. Pat, a retired Sales Engineer for American Heat Treating of Monroe, was born in Fairfield to the late Pasquale and Margaret (Servilla) Petrone and has been a life long area resident. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and NASCAR. Pat also enjoyed collecting Coins and Sports Memorabilia. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife, include his devoted son, Pasquale Petrone Jr and his wife Helen Horton of East Hampton, his cherished grandchildren, Arianna Elizabeth and Dillon Patrick, 2 brothers, William Petrone and his wife Theresa of Bridgeport, and Michael Petrone and his wife Ann of Prospect, 3 sisters, Grace Veronesi and her husband Tom of Florida, Mary (Cookie) Petrone of Bridgeport, and Irene Orosz and her husband Richard of Bridgeport, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Stephen J. Petrone. Funeral services will take place on Monday, September 29th at 8:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. in St. James Church 2070 Main Street Stratford. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations in Pat's memory to the St. James Church.
