Obituary

Pamela Noble Tomer , age 62, of Stratford passed away on February 24, 2023 after a short but courageous battle with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) at Smilow Cancer Hospital.

Born in Bridgeport, CT on September 17, 1960, she was the daughter of John and Laura Paul Noble. She was a resident of Stratford for the majority of her life and attended Stratford schools. Later in life she attended Gateway Community College where she received an Associate's Degree.

Pam  is survived by her beloved daughter Lace Tomer of NYC, mother Laura Paul Noble of Milford, sister and brother-in-law Laura and Brian Stewart, nephew  Douglas Stewart, niece Katie Graham and her children Jackson and Julian all of Wallingford, niece Katlyn Noble, her son Kaiden and her fiancé Steve Barrett and his son Aedan  of Hebron, her  Uncle and Aunt  Raymond and Mary Beth Noble of Delaware  her Aunt Joan of Shelton as well as cousins Steve, Tommy, Vicki, Cindy, Leslie, Carol  Jo-Ann, Jack, Danny, Donald , David and Diane , her best friend Jerry and her friend and mentor Jean,  her childhood and lifelong friends Nancy, Caroline, Jennifer, Maureen, and Carol and her friends and neighbors Christina and Adam.

Pam was predeceased by her father John Noble, brother James and grandparents Alexander and Margaret Antanitis and James and Florence Noble, as well as her Aunts, Karen, Barbara, Florence and Uncles Tommy , Jimmy, Jack and cousin Lori.

The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to Caroline and Janine for driving Pam to her many appointments at Smilow Cancer Center. Additionally the family would like to thank the Smilow Cancer Care Team for the care they provided during Pam's course of treatment, especially Lisa Barbarotta, APRN for being available any time of the day or night to provide emotional support with care, and compassion and to Dr. Rory Shallis for his kindness and compassion.

Pam was a kind loving soul who never uttered a bad word about anyone. Her daughter was her shining light and the love of her life.  She was a wonderful aunt and great aunt and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, whether it was just a family dinner or a trip to Disneyworld.   She was an animal lover and a champion for animal causes and adopted her pets to save their lives.

Her family will receive relatives and friends at Adzima Funeral Home in Stratford on Wednesday, March 8 from 4:00 to 7:00. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations  may be made in Pam's memory to Stratford Animal Rescue Society (STARS) P.O. Box 1371, Stratford Connecticut 06615.
