Olga Bilchak Williams, age 83, of Stratford, the widow of John S. Williams passed away on Thursday, January 06, 2011 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. Olga was born in Stratford to the late Michael and Mary (Risko) Bilchak and has been a life-long Stratford resident. She was a long time employee of Franklin Pharmacy on Barnum Ave and Miller's Hallmark in Hawley Lane until her retirement. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church Mill Hill Ave. Bridgeport where she was active socially and a member of the seniors. Her social personality helped her at Lord Chamberlain were she would meet with the same friends each day and called themselves the "gang". Survivors include her beloved children: John R (Jack) Williams and his wife Lisa of Shelton and David M Williams and his wife Holly of Cherry Hill, NJ her 3 cherished grandsons Thomas E. Redden of Bradenton, FL, John D. Williams of Shelton and Michael D. Williams of Cherry Hill, NJ; a sister Evelyn Schiffer and her husband David of Trumbull; 2 special nieces and a nephew: Mary, Elizabeth and David Schiffer along with several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters Anna Hanas and Margaret Ambromitis and 1 brother Michael Bilchak. The family would like to express a heart felt thanks to the staff of Lord Chamberlain for the care and support given to Olga. Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 9:15 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 am in St. John the Baptist Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church Bridgeport with a requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-6 pm. Panachida will be at 4:30 pm In Lieu of Flowers donations in Olga's memory may be made to St. John's Church Recreational Fund.
