Noila M. Catala, age 92, of Stratford, formerly of New York, beloved wife of the late Blas J. Catala, passed away on December 12, 2022, in her home.

Noila was born in Cuba on June 7, 1930, to the late Octavio and Maria Louisa (Vasconcelos) Valdes-Fedraga and had been a longtime New York resident.

Survivors include her devoted daughter, Tania Mackbach and her husband Francis of Stratford, cherished grandchildren, Erica Skapley, Alexis and Tyler Mackbach, brother, Omar Valdes and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Noila was pre-deceased by her sister, Gladys.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, December 16 ^th from 9-9:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A prayer service will take place at 9:30 a.m. and interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Rye Brook, New York.
