Nita L. Eck passed away January 17, 2012 at the Carolton Convalescent Hospital in Fairfield, CT. She was born on November 15, 1942 in Northampton, MA and was a graduate of New Bedford (MA) High School. She is survived by a brother, Carleton Eck of Weatogue, CT, and sisters Cynthia Clason of Brookline, NH and Pamela Lindquist of Brockton, MA, and several nieces and nephews. Nita spent most of her career in retail including in several successful managerial positions. She was last employed by Frank Roth Co., Inc. in company administration. Nita was an avid gardener and took great pride in her flowers, which could be seen on the deck of her condominium where she was also the Association's secretary. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 28, 2012 from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green, in Stratford, Connecticut.
