Nina Belaieff Kendall age 59 of Trumbull, passed away on Saturday August 15, 2009 in her home. Nina, a retired teacher for the City of Bridgeport at High Horizon Magnet School, was born in Paris, France to Zinaida (Istuchin) Belaieff of Trumbull and the late Sergei Belaieff and has been a long time area resident. She was a graduate of Central High School, University of Bridgeport and Fairfield University where she received her Master's and Sixth Year Degrees. Nina, lived a selfless life and was a dedicated member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, and was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother, who anonymously did many silent deeds for people in the area. In addition to her mother she is survived by her beloved children Katherine Callaghan and her husband Christopher of Trumbull, John Kendall and his wife Kelley of Milford, Angelina Kendall of Trumbull, Alexander Kendall of Groton and Gregory Kendall of Trumbull, 4 cherished grandchildren Katarina, John, Alexandra and James. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday August 18th at 10 a.m. in St. Nicholas Church 1 Honeyspot Road Stratford for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Monday (Today) from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Panachida at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donation in Nina's memory to St. Nicholas Church.
