Nicholas S. Potok, age 88, of Stratford, passed away on April 3, 2023, at The Carolton Health Center in Fairfield.

Nick was born in Stratford on April 15, 1934, to the late Andrew and Mary (Strich) Potok and was a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of Stratford High School and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Nick was a member of Teamsters Union Local #443.

In addition to his beloved parents, Nick was pre-deceased by his brothers, Joseph (Helen), Thomas, Paul (Judith), Andrew (Anna) and Peter (Theresa), sisters, Marie Kortak and Helen Dale, nephew Gary Potak, and nieces Judith Jablonsky, Jacqueline Gianotti and Nancy Potak. The family would like to thank Nick's nephew, Paul Potok, Jr. for his many years of care and compassion towards Nick. Nick is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 6 ^th from 9-10 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, followed by a Requiem Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church, 364 Mill Hill Ave., Bridgeport. Interment with full Military Honors will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford.
