Nicholas Papillo, age 67, of Wallingford, beloved husband of Patricia Gregory Papillo, passed away on July 3, 2017 in his home. He was retired from Fairfield University as Director of Purchasing. Nicholas was past president of St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, Stratford. Survivors in addition to his wife include, 3 children and 5 grandchildren. A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday July 7 ^th at 10 a.m. in the Orthodox Greek Catholic Church of St John the Baptist 1240 Broadbridge Avenue Stratford. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may greet his family on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the church. A Requiem Service will be at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Nicholas to Smilow Colon Cancer research at Yale www.givetoynhh.org/donate The Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
