Nicholas J. Lesko, age 89, of Stratford, beloved husband of Frances Mercurio Lesko, passed away on October 12, 2021, in his home.

Nick was born in Bridgeport on December 19, 1931, to the late Michael and Elizabeth (Dzurenda) Lesko and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a U. S Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War. Nick was a retired plumber for Union Local #777 and was a member of the Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport.

Survivors in addition to his beloved wife, include his sister-in-law, Mary Lesko, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Nicholas was pre-deceased by his brothers, George, Edward, William and Michael, and sisters, Frances Brotherton and Julia Kasinak.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, October 16 ^th , 2021, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, followed by a Requiem Funeral Service at 10a.m. in The Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, 364 Mill Hill Avenue Bridgeport. Everyone in attendance must follow the COVID 19 guidelines, wear a mask and practice social distancing. Interment with full military honors will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
