Participating in 5 bombing missions, his plane absorbed severe damage on their 5th mission barley reaching safety in Sweeden. He served with honor, as we lose another humble warrior of the Greatest Generation. Nicholas worked for the Bassick Company, Controller for Bozzuto's Inc. and in retirement for Hallmark Cards, then for Family Health Care agency as a driver for home health care workers. Always quick with a smile and a pleasant word, Nicholas was kind to everyone he knew. Always giving more than taking, he was a true joy and a special blessing to have as a father. A generous spirit of steadfast love and support, the world has lost a unique and precious person. He will be sorely missed.
