Nicholas Vito Farello, age 88 of Stratford, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 in Branford, CT. He was the beloved husband of the late Anita Stallone Farello. Nick was born in Bronx, NY on September 14, 1932 to the late Vito and Anna (Mosso) Farello.  He resided in Trumbull until moving to Stratford 2 years ago. Nick was a retired Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service and is a Veteran of the US Army and was a member of the VFW. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was loved by all who knew him. Nick was an avid Yankee fan and loved his hot dogs at the stand outside the stadium. He also loved his trips to the casino with his daughter and son-in-law. Survivors include his devoted daughter, Diane Perruzzi and her husband Roy of Stratford, his cherished grandchildren, Nicole Morra, Cori Perruzzi, Casey Perruzzi, Joseph Perruzzi and wife Michelle, great-granddaughter Amelia Jane Perruzzi, brothers Angelo Farello, Rocco Farello and wife Marie Farello and his longtime girlfriend Louise Varga along with several nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Mary Coscia. In addition to his wife and parents, Nick was predeceased by his son Thomas Farello, his grandson Lawrence John Morra, and brother Frank Farello. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 22nd at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa's Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with Full Military Honors will be at St. John's Cemetery, Monroe. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford.
