Nicholas Bobko, age 82, of Stratford, beloved husband of Lena Tucciarone Bobko, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 in Manchester Memorial Hospital. Mr. Bobko, a retired laborer for Sherbrook Construction Company, was born in Stratford to the late John and Mary (Zentkovich) Bobko, and has been a life long area resident. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of sixty-one years, include his devoted son, Nicholas Bobko and his wife Carla of West Haven, 2 cherished granddaughters, Marcie and Megan Foulke, a great-grandson Ezra Gordon, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his beloved daughter, Ann Marie Foulke, a sister Mary Bobko, and brothers, John, George, Michael, Joseph, Peter, Andrew, and Stephen. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 10 ^th at 10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, with Rev. Michael Macura officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Panachida will be at 4:30 p.m.
