Neil Richard Kopchyak, age 37 of Fairfield passed away on Monday November 19, 2007 in his home. Neil, a custodian for the Fairfield Board of Education was born in Bridgeport and has been a life long Fairfield resident. He was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School and had been employed by the Town of Easton Highway Department for nineteen years. Neil was a member of the Harley Owners Group and was an avid outdoorsman and loved nature, animals and motorcycles, but he loved nothing more than his daughter Krystal, his dog Bear,his friends and his motorcycle trips to Lake George, NY. Survivors include his cherished daughter Krystal Lyn of Thomaston, his beloved parents Richard and Mary Anna (Kochiss) Kopchyak, his sister Lisa and his brother Adam all of Fairfield, his 2 aunts Irene Menard and Charlotte Bonassar, 3 nieces Ashley, Haley and Keira and 4 cousins. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday November 24, 2007 at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X R.C. Church 834 Brookside Drive Fairfield. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Friday from 4-6 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
