Mortimer Michael Cassidy Jr, age 80 of the Huntington section of Shelton died Sunday, November 11, 2007 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in New York City to the late Mortimer M. Cassidy Sr and Mary McGettick Cassidy he has been a life long area resident living in Huntington for the 42 years. He was a Veteran of the US Army Mr. Cassidy was a retied Tax Attorney for Uni-Royal Inc and was a member of the Atlantic Beach Club in Long Island. Survivors include his beloved wife of 42 years Barbara Berman Cassidy; a daughter Meg Cassidy Kelleher and her husband Bill of Fairfield; 3 grandchildren Matthew, Sean and Timothy Kelleher; a sister Eileen Cassidy Yasuk of NC and several nieces and nephews. 2 brothers John and Francis Cassidy predeceased him. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 9:00 am in the Adzima Funeral home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:00 am in St. Lawrence Church in Huntington with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be held in Lawn Cemetery in Huntington. Friends may call on Monday (TODAY) from 4-7pm.
