Milka Smajla, age 85, of Stratford, beloved wife of John Smajla, passed away on August 11, 2022, in St. Vincent' s Medical Center, Bridgeport.

Milka was born in Croatia on May 10, 1937, to the late Ivan and Manda (Stanisic) Cindric and had been a long-time area resident, she was a retired seamstress for Warner's. Survivors in addition to her beloved husband of 61 years, include her cherished grandchildren, Timothy and Samantha Smajla, both of Stratford, 5 sisters, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Milka was pre-deceased by her devoted daughter, Debbie Smajla.

Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
