Mildred Marie Frissora, age 96, of West Haven, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was born on May 18, 1928 in Bridgeport to the late Paul and Christine (Yantek) Kuchar. She was predeceased by her siblings, Cecelia Cook, Steve Kuchar and Mary Savoyski. At the age of 18 Mildred moved to New York City and graduated from the Mount Sinai Hospital School of Nursing at a time when it was not commonplace for women to pursue a career. She was a compassionate and dedicated nurse at work as well as outside of work. She loved playing cards, reading books, playing Sudoku and traveling (in her younger years) and spending time with family.

Survivors include her 4 devoted children, Kathleen Frissora, Kenneth Frissora, Kevin Frissora and his wife Alisa of West Haven, and Karen Frissora and her husband Steven Bikofsky of Trumbull, her cherished grandchildren, Taylor Frissora, Sirena Frissora and Rachel Bikofsky, her dear nephews, Richard Cook (Denise), Scott Frissora (Julie), Bob Mancuso (Mona), Rick Mancuso and nieces Beverly Richard (Marshal), Tracy Kolarich (Nick), Sharon Porto and several great nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday, January 8th from 4-7 in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 9th at 10 am in Holy Name of Jesus in Stratford. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
