Mildred Pavlik Billow, age 82 of Stratford passed away on Monday July 10, 2006 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Billow, a retired assembler for the General Electric Company was born in Bridgeport to the late Peter and Anna Pavlik and has been a life long area resident. She was a member of the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist and their Mothers and Daughters Club and Senior Citizens, the Baldwin Center and the G.E. Quarter Century Club. She was the widow of Steve Billow. Survivors include her beloved daughters Kathy Billow of Waterbury, Heidi Cavaliere of Stratford, Tina Billow and Inger Arum of Scotts Valley, CA and Stephanie Curran and her husband Sean of Shelton, 6 grandchildren Michael, Julia, Leeanne, Katherine, Hallie and Stephen and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Millie, infant sons Steven and Peter and a granddaughter Ashley. Funeral services will take place on Friday July 14th at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 a.m. in the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Panachida at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to St. John's Sr. "R" Club Scholarship Fund.
