Michael David Winkel, age 56, of Middlebury, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, in St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury.
Dave was born in Bridgeport on May 31, 1967, to Robert and Eleanor (Camarro) Winkel of Stratford. He was a 1985 Graduate of Bunnell High School and Gateway College with high honors and was a mechanical engineer with ASML. Dave had a great love of classic cars and motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving children, Joshua Winkel of Waterbury and Samantha Winkel of Allston, MA, his partner, Natalie DiDente of Middlebury, her two children, Brian and Patrick, a brother, Eric Winkel of Seymour and the mother of his children, Gloria (Carbery) Gliford of Oxford.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, August 30th at 10 a.m. directly at St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-7 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford.
