Michael A. Segla, age 63, of Hartford, passed away on May 23, 2017 at Chelsea Place Care Center, Hartford. Michael was born in Bridgeport on March 23, 1954 to the late Stephen and Margarette (Mindek) Segla. He enjoyed astronomy and looking at old photo albums and pictures with great affection for the past. Michael is survived by his sister, Dorothy Arsenault and her husband Edgar, and brother, Richard Segla all of Stratford, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by his sister, Margaret Jane and sister-in-law, Jean. Funeral services will take place on Friday, May 26 ^th at 12 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 12:30 p.m. in the Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport, for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 11a.m.- 12 p.m.
