Michael L. Nevells, age 24, of Stratford, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 7, 2018 in his home. Michael was born on December 20, 1993 in Bridgeport, beloved son of Alan and Angela (Scioletti) Nevells, and has been a life long area resident. He was a 2011 graduate of Bunnell High School. Michael played baseball for Stratford PONY and Babe Ruth leagues, and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed music, and Drag Racing with his Dad. Survivors in addition to his beloved parents, include his brother, A.J. Nevells and his fiancé Kate Sardella, sister, Karen Rey and her husband Berto, nephew, Kaleb Rey, uncle, Maurice (Pamela) Scioletti, aunts, Rosemarie Scioletti, Susan Bitetto, and Laurie Nevells, his great-aunt, Rose Megenis, and several cousins. Michael was pre-deceased by his grandparents, Maurice and Filomena Scioletti and Maynard and Norma Nevells, and his uncle, Edward Nevells. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 13 ^th at 10 a.m. meeting directly at Holy Name of Jesus Church 1950 Barnum  Ave Stratford. Interment will be private. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4- 7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make a donation in memory of Michael to the Nevells family, to help with his final expenses.
