Michael J. Lisowski Jr., age 88, of Milford and West Palm Beach, Florida, beloved husband of Dorothy Kuba Lisowski, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center Stratford. Michael, a WW II Veteran of the U.S. Army was born in Bridgeport to the late Michael and Anna (Poremba) Lisowski Sr. and has been a life long area resident. He was a retired Lead Man for Sikorsky Aircraft, retiring after thirty-eight years. Michael was a member of the Teamsters Union and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed playing Bocce. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife, include his children, Michael Lisowski III, and Karen Stoll and her husband Richard all of Milford, a sister, Mary Pensanti of Shelton, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by a sister Shirley Mordovanec. Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 25th at 9:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church Gulf Street, Milford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
