On July 9, 2022, Michael E. Hudak Sr, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the age of 91.

He is survived by his wife, Irene, of 69 years, three children, Linda, Andrea, and Michael Jr, two grandchildren, Benjamin and Megan, and several nieces and nephews. In high school, he was an accomplished athlete in both baseball and football, setting many records. After high school, he played minor league baseball in the Yankee farm system. He served in the Marine Corps, earning the distinct recognition of sharpshooter.
After his military service, he graduated from the Connecticut School of Electronics, and had a distinguished career at National Semiconductor and Black & Decker. Known to the family as Mickey, he spent his retirement in Florida, becoming a wonderful cook and baker.

A memorial service was held in Coral Springs, Florida on August 17, 2022.

A private interment will be held at St. John's Cemetery, Stratford on October 26, 2022.
