Maxine C. Pester Yarson, age 90 of Milford, previously of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on December 11, 2011. Born April 22, 1921 in Bridgeport, CT, Maxine graduated from Morristown High School and Orange Medical Center with a degree in Nursing. Maxine worked as an RN at St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport for 11 years and as a night supervisor at Bridgeport Hospital for 23 years before retiring. Predeceased by her husband, Harry T. Yarson; daughter Nancy Yarson; her parents Maxwell Pester and Mary Milliken Pester; sisters Regina Bevel and Mary Moore; and brother Robert Pester. Maxine is survived by three sons, David Yarson of Milford, CT; Don Yarson of Skillman, NJ; and Chris Yarson (wife Janice) of Milford, CT; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a goddaughter, Jackie Carroll of Thompson, CT along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday December 14th at 9:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Gabriel's Church, Milford for a Mass of Christian Burial.
