Matilda Rovnak Zukowski, age 86 of Trumbull passed away on Monday October 27, 2008 in her home. Mrs. Zukowski a retired employee of Sikorsky Aircraft was born in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania to the late Michael and Veronica (Halitsky) Rovnak and has been a long time area resident. She was the widow of Henry Zukowski.. Survivors include her beloved children Robert Zukowski of Shelton, Elaine Kendrick of Arizona and Margaret Sugden of Sandy Hook, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial of Friday October 31st at 9 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church 220 Shelton Road Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Trumbull. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
