Mary Ann Vasil Pcolar, age 87, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Raymond E. Pcolar, passed away on October 23, 2024.

Mary Ann was born in Bridgeport on September 30, 1937, to the late John and Bertha Vasil and had been a Fairfield resident since her marriage to Raymond in 1959. She was an active member of St. John's Orthodox Church, Bridgeport and their Senior "R" Club.  She enjoyed having all her children and grandchildren together for weekly dinners, birthdays, and holidays.

Survivors include her devoted children, Keith Pcolar of Shelton, Raymond Pcolar of Florida, Laura Cavaliere and her husband Frank of Shelton, and Jonathan Pcolar of Wilton, daughter-in-law, Karen Pcolar of Milford, 6 cherished grandchildren, Kellie Pcolar (Dave), Brian Pcolar, Anthony Cavaliere, and Sophia, Grant, and Emma Pcolar, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Mary Ann was pre-deceased by her son, Brian and brothers, John and George Vasil.

Calling hours will be held Monday, October 28, 2024, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Panachida at 4:30 p.m.  A Requiem Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 29th at 10 a.m. meeting directly at The Carpatho- Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist 364 Mill Hill Avenue Bridgeport. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make a donation in memory of Mary Ann, to St. John's Church or The Senior "R" Club Scholarship Fund.
