Mary Samoskevich Palo, age 79 of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Andrew Palo, passed away on January 15, 2018 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mary was born in Bridgeport on June 30, 1938 to the late Nicholas and Veronica (Palechko) Samoskevich and has been a life long area resident. She was retired from the Registrars Office at Sacred Heart University, and prior to that had worked for Bridgeport Metal Goods. Mary was an avid sports fan, and loved to cheer on the New York Yankees, New England Patriots and the U-Conn Woman's Basketball team. Survivors include her devoted son, Andrew Palo and his wife Raelinda of Trumbull, 2 cherished grandchildren, Andrew and Alexa, 2 brothers, Nicholas Samoskevich of Naugatuck and Peter Samoskevich and his wife Christine of Newtown, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was pre-deceased by her brothers, George and Fred and her sister, Veronica. Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 19 ^th at 11:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
