Mary Caple Maiocco, age 69, of Columbia, Maryland, formerly of Stratford, beloved wife
of the late Richard L. Maiocco, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 in her home surrounded by her
family. Mary, a retired medical assistant for Dr. Kenneth Maiocco, was born in Bridgeport to the late
William F. and Catherine (Thomas) Caple and has been a long time area resident. She was a graduate of
Trumbull High School. Mary was a former member of the Trumbull Jaycees Woman's Group and
enjoyed sewing and reading. Above all else, she loved spending time with her beloved children and
grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include her devoted children, Richard Maiocco Jr.,
and his wife Stacey of KY, Kathryn Dudzinski and her husband Keith of MD, and Marie Gill and her
husband Michael of MA, 10 cherished grandchildren, Jack, Samantha, Emma, Mary Kathryn, Sarah,
Anna, Matthew, Alexandra, Elizabeth, Joseph, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 21 ^st at 10 a.m. meeting directly at St. Catherine of Siena
Church 220 Shelton Rd Trumbull. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may
call on Friday from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. In lieu
of flowers those desiring may make donations in Mary's memory to the Get In Touch Foundation Inc.
