Mary B. Gulish, age 86, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late George Gulish, passed away on July 2, 2024.

Mary was born in Canada on September 9, 1937, to the late John and Anna (Filicko) Bashar and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Harding High School and was a devoted member of St. John's Russian Orthodox Church, Bridgeport, where she was a member of the Choir and Seniors Group.

Survivors include her devoted children, Michael Gulish (Judy) of Seymour and Karen Horanzy (Tom) of Southington, 4 cherished grandchildren, Stephen Gulish (Kristen), Corinne Roberts (Ben), Catherine Gulish, and Mark Horanzy, as well as great-grandsons Jace and Cam Gulish, great-granddaughter Madison Roberts, brother John Bashar and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her brothers, Richard and George Bashar.

Visitation on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, followed by a Requiem Funeral Service at 11:00 am in St. John the Baptist Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church 364 Mill Hill Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford.
