Mary Ann Grillo, of Trumbull, the beloved daughter of the late Margaret Tarasovic and John Jarusinsky, wife of the late Lawrence A Grillo, passed into eternal rest Sunday, November 20, 2011. A devout Catholic, Mary Ann graduated from St Cyril Academy in Danville, PA, was taught by the Sisters of St Cyril Methodius. She was a frequent Communicant of many area Catholic parishes, but she loved Sts Cyril and Methodius Church in Bridgeport where she was married and enjoyed the Latin Mass. She was a devoted mother to her six children, Susan Grillo of Bridgeport, Chris Grillo and his wife Christine of Milford, Lauren Grillo and her companion David Mills of Shelton, Lawrence Jude Grillo and his wife Janet of Trumbull, John Michael Grillo and his wife Lynne of Trumbull. She dedicated her retirement years doting on her 10 grandchildren, with whom she love to spend time with, which brought her joy and happiness. Amy Mumich, Mark Mumich, Sean Grillo, Paul Grillo, Alexander and Lawrence Mills, Connor, Maverick and Julia Grillo, Alivia Jayne Grillo. She is also survived by a brother John Jarusinsky of Stratford, a sister Joan Bustelos and her husband John of Woodbridge, 2 aunts, several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, her daughter Teresa Ann Grillo and a sister Margaret Krysinski predeceased her. Mary Ann loved to spend time at her condo in Falmouth, MA in the cape. She was truly a Saint on earth by always sacrificing her needs for others. She was a wife, mother and grandmother, but above everything else a loving selfless person who has touched the lives of many. The Lord tells us to love everyone, and Mary Ann applied this to her daily life. She worked at Citytrust and Chase Bank on Blackrock Tpke in Fairfield for over 25 yrs where she received many accolades and awards for customer service. Her customers truly loved her also. She prayed faithfully and loved God. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 9:00AM in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:00 AM in Sts Cyril and Methodius Church Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Lawncroft Cemetery Fairfield. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-7 PM.
