Mary DeGirolamo, age 94, of Shelton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Shelton Lakes with her only child, Sharon, by her side.

Born on November 4, 1928, in Ambridge, Pennsylvania to the late John and Helen (Pirhalla) Tarasovich, she grew up in Granville, New York and graduated from Granville, High School. She soon followed her sister Helen to Bridgeport, Connecticut where she became a hairdresser and met her future husband Pat. Mary worked for Read's and G. Fox and retired from Park City Hospital in the dietary department.

Besides her daughter, she is survived by her son-in-law, Dan; grandson, Robert and his fiancée Chalis; granddaughter, Rachel and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Pasquale (Pat), her sister, Helen, and brothers, Alex, John, Joseph, Michael, Nicholas and Steven.

Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
