Mary Ann D. Babjak, age 69, of Bridgeport, passed away on November 18, 2017 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mary Ann was born in Bridgeport on December 7, 1947 to the late John and Anna (Pastir) Babjak and has been a life long resident. She graduated from Bullard Havens Technical High School Class of 1968, and was retired from Optimus Health Care in Bridgeport. Mary Ann was an active member of St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church in Trumbull. She enjoyed crocheting, reading Danielle Steel novels, and caring for her pet turtle Budette. Survivors include her devoted brother, John Babjak and his wife Carolyn of Shelton, her special friend, Richard Saykosky of Stratford, and nephews, Richard Jones and his wife Colby, and Kevin Jones. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 21 ^st at 9:15AM in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:00AM in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church Trumbull with the celebration of a Divine Liturgy. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4-7 PM. Panachida will be at 4:30 PM.
