Mary Anna Bezverchy Cleary, age 84, of Milford passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 4, 2011 in Yale New Haven Hospital, with her 3 loving daughters by her side. Mary was born in Bridgeport to the late John and Anna (Hovanetz) Bezverchy. She was a graduate of Warren Harding High School and proudly attended the Rhode Island School of Design. She was the original organic gardener and an avid birder. Her love of tennis brought about many cherished friendships that lasted her a lifetime. She loved playing slot machines at the casinos and traveling with her daughters. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years Peter Francis Cleary on July 14, 2011. Survivors include her 3 devoted daughters, Lianne Rasmussen and her husband Richard of Ansonia, Patricia Finnell and her companion Anthony Micco of West Haven, Frances Cottiero and her husband George of Northford; 6 cherished grandchildren, Lauren Ursillo, Crystal Sinnott, Amanda, Anthony, Andrew and Alec Cottiero; 3 great-grandsons, Benjamin and Maximus Ursillo and Colton Sinnott; 2 nieces, Diane Imbimbo and Debbie Gomperts. She was predeceased by her brother John Bezverchy. Funeral Services will take place on Friday September 9, 2011 at 10:30AM in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with the Rev Thomas Lynch of St. James Church officiating. Internment will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 PM.
