Obituary

Mary T. Sando Bullick, age 85 of Bridgeport, the widow of John Bullick passed away on Monday August 17, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Bullick, a retired employee of the Remington Arms Company, was born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania to the late Michael and Elizabeth (Sharnick) Sando and has been a life long area resident. Mary was a member of the Remington Arms Quarter Century and Women's Clubs, and loved to travel, shop, dine out and dance. She also enjoyed her Saturday's at Lane's Beauty Parlor. Most of all she will be remembered for the love she showed to her family, by teaching them the value of prayer. Survivors include her beloved daughters Joann Soter and her husband Charles of Stratford and Mary Ann Sherbo and her husband Joseph of Bridgeport, 5 cherished grandchildren Annette Meraz, Joseph and Jill Sherbo and John and Jennifer Soter, a brother George Sando and his wife Mary of South Carolina, several nieces and nephews and two special family friends and caregivers Maryann Wauthier and Mary Leslie. In addition to her husband and parents she was pre-deceased by her sister Betty Sando. Mary's family would like to thank the 2nd floor staff of Lord Chamberlain for the kind and loving care given to their mother. Funeral services will take place on Friday August 21st at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 a.m. in St. Ambrose Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to St. Ambrose Church or to the American Diabetes Association 149 Madison Avenue New York, New York 10016
