Mary Ann “Toots” DeZenzo, age 98, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026. Mary Ann was born in Milford on May 31, 1927, to the late Frank and Gertrude (Bradley) Plumb. Mary Ann was married for many years to the late Albert DeZenzo Sr. and was a lifelong area resident.

Survivors include her devoted children, Mary Ann “Mindy” Petrovich of Stratford, Cali Leonard and her husband Patrick of Stratford, Cindy Anderson of New York, Albert DeZenzo Jr. of Stratford, James DeZenzo of Florida, and Michael DeZenzo of Milford, daughter in-law Kathy Anderson of Florida. 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, with #11 to arrive this summer, a sister, Dawn Jackson and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was pre-deceased by her son, Robert Anderson, and daughter in-law Teri DeZenzo, brothers, Frank and Robert Plumb, and sisters, Connie Byrne, Marilyn Mack, Barbara Cantor, and Noreen Kelly. As well as her dear friend and sister-in-law, Patricia Plumb.

Visitation on Monday, May 18th from 5-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. James Church 2070 Main Street Stratford, Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Milford.
