Martha Victoria (Marty) Kennedy Golembeski, age 88 of Stratford, the widow of Joseph T. Golembeski passed away on Tuesday December 21, 2010 in Bishop Wicke Health Care Center, Shelton. Marty was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Emmett and Martha (Rogenzenski) Kennedy and was a graduate of Denby High School. She worked as a Wingtip inspector during WW II. Marty, loved her summer nights sitting on the front step talking and laughing with Florence and Lilly, and we can't forget her trips with Ann to Atlantic City. Moving to Connecticut after living in Gross Point Woods, Michigan was a big change, but she fell in love with the beaches and mountains of Connecticut and found Stratford for her New England home. We will all deeply miss her smiling face and loving ways. Her family would like to thank the nurses and aides at Bishop Wicke for the warm and loving care of our Mom. Survivors include her devoted daughters Dianne Pochron of Stratford and Martha Puglisi of Milford, her 2 cherished granddaughters Kim Pochron of Boston and Val Pochron of Stratford. In addition to her husband and parents she was pre-deceased by a brother Edward Kennedy. Funeral services will take place on Thursday December 23rd (TODAY) at 11:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 12 noon in St. Mark's Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment in St. Michael's Cemetery will be private.
