Martha R. Colangelo, age 98, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Peter Colangelo, passed away on February 8, 2023, at St. Vincent's MC.

Martha was born in Bridgeport on January 10, 1925, to the late Joseph and Mary (Geraci) Russo and had been a lifelong area resident. Watching gameshows was her past time in her last years, with Price is Right being her favorite. She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

Survivors include her devoted daughters, Laura Moore of Stratford, Mary Ann Nassetta and her husband Robert of Oregon, Martha Wood and her husband Jim of Fairfield, June Zanchelli and her husband Robert of Illinois, and Judith Ackley and her husband Jonathan of Stratford, 10 cherished grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Martha was pre-deceased by her grandson, Peter Nassetta and 5 siblings.

Visitation on Tuesday, February 14 ^th from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. There will be a prayer service at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment in Union Cemetery, Stratford.
