Marlene Reimer Kadar Coffey of Stratford passed away on Tuesday January 5, 2015 in Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late William Kadar and the late Edmond Coffey. She was the daughter of the late John and Emma Reimer. She is survived by her daughters Karen Yeomans (Richard) and Linda Holton (Jeffrey) of Stratford, her sister Martha Worthley and daughter in law Annette Kadar, her loving grandchildren Melanie Davidson, Michael Kadar (Gina), Gena Kadar(David Zychek), Nicole Paniccia (Maurizio), Alyssa Mysliwiec (Michael), Jeffrey, Joseph, Arabella and Jessica Holton and her precious great grandchildren Giovanni Kadar, Luciano and Leonardo Paniccia, Claire Mysliwiec. She was predeceased by her son Glenn Kadar, sister Louise Szabo, brothers John, Robert and Richard Reimer. Marlene will always be remembered for her generosity and her kind and caring nature to all who knew her and also those who just met her. She enjoyed summers at the beach, shopping and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Medical staff, the Geriatrics staff and Surgical ICU staff at Bridgeport Hospital as well as the staff at Gardner Heights Nursing Home in Shelton for their professionalism, kindness, patience, excellent care and support. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 8th at 10 a.m. in St. Mark Church 500 Wigwam Lane Stratford. Interment will be private. Friends may greet Marlene's family on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
