Mark S. Verespie, age 69, of Shelton, passed away peacefully at home on June 14, 2025.

Mark was born in Bridgeport on February 18, 1956, to the late Edward and Lillian (Durovchik) Verespie and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Shelton High School, class of 1974, and was a self-employed plumber and was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his brothers, William Verespie and his wife Nora of Bridgeport, and John Verespie and his wife Carrie of North Carolina, his longtime companion, Lynn Skerlick and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be announced at a later date. The Adzima Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
