Marion Dobosz Kaputa, age 100, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late William A. Kaputa, passed away peacefully in her home on August 26, 2025.

Marion was born in New Britain to the late Alexander and Tillie (Sawezysyn) Dobosz and had been a long-time Stratford resident. She was a graduate of Harding High School and was a retired bookkeeper for General Electric Supply Co.  Marion was a lifetime member of the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist in Bridgeport and was an avid sports fan, she especially enjoyed cheering on UConn Basketball and her beloved New York Yankees.

Survivors include her devoted children, Nancy Riley and her husband James of Trumbull and William Kaputa of South Carolina, her cherished granddaughters, Jessica Wallace and her husband Ed and Iris Kaputa, adored great-grandchildren, Riley and TJ, her "grand dog", Jake and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Marion was pre-deceased by her siblings, Walter (Helen) Dobosz, Joseph (Helen) Dobosz and Irene (Adolph) Osowski.

Visitation on Tuesday September 2nd  from 10-11 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, followed by a Requiem Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Very Rev David Cochran. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
