Obituary

Marilyn Liscinsky Knecht, age 68 of Stratford passed away on Sunday March 25, 2007 in Bridgeport Hospital. Marilyn, a retired secretary for Curtis-Crandon-Moffett Insurance Company, was born in Bridgeport to the late Frank Peter Liscinsky and Anne Sutyak Liscinsky and has been a life long area resident. She was a graduate of Harding High School and was a long time member of Summerfield United Methodist Church, where she was member of the choir and mission committee and was past Sunday School Superintendent and former financial secretary, She was also a member of Bunnell Parent Booster Club, Stratford P.A.L Pistol Club and was a former Brownie and Girl Scout Leader in Stratford. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Arthur Knecht, her devoted children Paul Knecht and his wife Paula of Northford, Douglas Knecht of Jupiter, Fl, and Paula Robbins of Wallingford 5 cherished grandchildren Billy Rowe, Kaitlyn and Kyle Robbins, Matthew and Dalton Knecht, a brother Peter Liscinsky of Jupiter, Fl, and a sister Ilona Maturo of Huntington, Long Island and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday March 28th at 10 a.m. in Summerfield United Methodist Church Bridgeport, with the Rev. Marjorie Nunes officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday (Today) from 4-8 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to Summerfield United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
