Marie Cephise Limage ( Manmi C ), 90 years old, passed away peacefully on June 6,2023 , with her family lovingly by her side. Marie Cephise Limage was born on March 12, 1933, in Gonaives, Haiti to parents Euranie Gabriel and Tancrede Limage.
She lived her young life in Gonaives, then moved to Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Manmi C was predeceased by her daughters Jerone, Yasmine, and most recently Anna Yanick Limage, who died last year September 2, 2022, her mother, father, brothers, and sisters.
She is survived by 5 children Arlande Joseph, Marie Josee Dorelus and Son in law Josue Dorelus, Altagrace Andree Limage, Ronald Limage and daughter in law Martacha Limage, and Rockefeller Chery Limage. She is also survived by her granddaughters and grandsons Youdeline Augustin, Gregory Limage, Josue Dorelus Jr., Gael Mathurin, Shama Mathurin, Shamaele Dorelus, Joshsmine Dorelus, Dayleen Chery, Adassa Mathurin, Daniel Chery, Jennifer Limage, kirstine Limage, Sarafina Limage, Aysel Chery, and Rochelle Chery. She also survived by her great grandkids Makenna Shepard, Brielle Limage, Anne Yanicka Limage, Jahel Limage, Yannie Limage, Bryson Dorelus, Emery Dorelus, Apollo John, Avery John, Andrew Joshua Dorelus, Jeremy Josue Dorelus, Aubrey Olivia, Guillaume-Sam, Vladimir Aries Guillaume-Sam, Kylie Mathurin, Genesis Mathurin. She also survived by her nieces and nephews Victor Lerebours, Bernard Limage, Junie Limage, Henry Jn Louis, Yvrose Jn Louis, Michael Alexandre, Gracia Alexandre, Paul Alexandre, Luberman Limage, Houdeline Limage, Abdallah Limage, Natalie Limage, Inelson Limage, Edler Limage. She also survived by her Goddaughter and Godsons Luberman Limage, Gadithe Joseph, Josue Dorelus Jr.
Manmi C was a self-made Entrepreneur building her business from the ground up, traveling all over the place national and overseas to buy and to sell goods back home. She was a loving great grandmother, grandmother, mother, sister, and cherished friends to those who were fortunate enough to be around her. Manmi C was a simple and humble person, she was kind, generous, and compassionate, who found joy in listening to evangelical music, while singing, and dancing to every beat, as well as dedicating her life to the Lord. Manmi C enjoyed every aspect of life and lived it to her fullest potential. She used to be a people person, who loved to joke around, or give advice to whomever needed it based on her life experience. She was a hard-working woman, caring, and fighting for the wellbeing of her family. Marie Cephise Limage will be desperately missed by all those that she left behind. Our hearts are broken by this unexpected loss. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be trully blessed. Manmi C is loved and will be missed by so many loved ones, especially her family. Now that you are gone, we have solace in knowing you are at peace, and your suffering has ended. Now you are ready to meet your maker.

Visitation on Friday June 16, 2023, from 4 -7Pm at the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford CT, 06614. Funeral services will be on Saturday June 17, 2023 beginning at 9 a.m. at United Methodist Church of Resurrection located 110 Claremont Avenue Bridgeport, CT. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
