Marianne R. Gnida, age 86, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Charles T. Gnida, passed away on October 16, 2024, in her home. Marianne was born in Bridgeport on April 11, 1938, to the late John and Anna (Hrenyo) Rinko and had been a lifelong area resident.

Survivors include her devoted daughter, Sandra Jossick of Stratford, cherished grandchildren, Matthew (Sarah Fan) Jossick of Southbury, Meghan (Daniel) Caughill of New York City, Daniel (Brigid) Jossick of Bridgeport, and Deborah (Benjamin) Evans of Stratford, and great-grandchildren, Leighton, Graham, and Everett. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Marianne was pre-deceased by her son-in-law, Gary Jossick.

Visitation on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 10:00-11:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, with a prayer service at 11:30 a.m.

Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the American Heart Association.
