Maria Ellinger Oboikowitsch, age 81, of Whitestone, NY, beloved wife of the late Richard Oboikowitsch, passed away on April 3, 2019 at Benchmark at Split Rock, Shelton. Maria was born in Glucking, Germany on October 23, 1937 to the late Josef and Francesca (Schweiger) Ellinger and had been a longtime New York resident. Survivors include her devoted children, Linda Inzucchi and her husband Silvio of Stratford, and Richard Oboikowitsch and his wife Cathy of New York, 5 cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Charles, and Caroline Inzucchi, and Madison and Donovan Oboikowitsch. Friends may greet Maria's family on Monday, April 8 ^th from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon at Queen of Peace Chapel in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York. Interment will immediately follow.
